Our vision at Robinwood is to make a really positive difference developing children – one of the most worthwhile things that anyone can do in a job!
We have identified the following 6 ways in which we achieve this really positive difference:
These unique points set Robinwood apart from other operators who deliver courses for schools, and are the key reasons that we get outstanding customer feedback and a very high return booking rate.
We also like to make a positive difference in the lives of the staff who work for Robinwood and there are many ways staff can have an impact on the company. Ideas and feedback from staff help Robinwood continually develop and improve.

We have staff surveys, gaining feedback on all aspects of working for Robinwood, which we use to help improve both the job and our provision for customers wherever we can. We have other snapshot surveys throughout the year and our status as one of the Sunday Times 100 Best companies to work for comes from an independently conducted survey of staff views.
Everyone at Robinwood has a line manager to support them and help them develop in their work. Line managers have lots of one to one chats with members of their team, providing plenty of opportunity for ongoing two way feedback. We aim to encourage a culture of praise and recognition in everything we do.
Robinwood Activity Centres is an award-winning provider of residential multi-activity courses for Primary Schools. Over 45,000 children attend our activity centres each year.
Our purpose designed indoor provision means we can operate courses year-round. Schools come for three days and take part in a packed course of around 15 adventurous, team-building and themed problem solving activities during their stay.
Everyone who works at Robinwood starts work as a group leader, regardless of their previous experience.
As well as group leading, staff do a number of additional duties including night duties, sitework days, wake-up and bedtime shifts, and some catering shifts. For committed staff with the right qualities there are great career development opportunities for promotion to many positions through the company right up to manager level.
