What centre do you work at and what’s great about where you  live?

Dobroyd Castle in Todmorden and I love the community spirit.

Why did you choose Robinwood?

After performing for a living for many years I wanted a new challenge and after visiting as a teacher I thought it was perfect.

How did you find the selection process?

Very hands on and tough for someone who has never worked in the outdoor industry.

What’s your favourite thing about working for Robinwood?

Seeing the children grow and developing their skills over the weekend and using their confidence to flourish.

What’s the best part of your job?

Working with different staff and learning tips and tricks from them to make my sessions the best they can be.

Why do you enjoy working with 7-11 year olds?

They are energetic and say whatever they feel.

Describe your first group in 5 words.

Lively, Independent, Creative, Challenging, Fun

What’s been your funniest moment?

Taking 10 minutes to decide which floor cleaner I should use.

What is your favourite session to run and why?

Giant Swing because of the involvement of the whole group.
